Exercise is so, so important for both our physical and mental wellbeing, which is why we encourage the people living here at Cumnor Hill House to partake in weekly exercise classes in the comfort of their home.

You may have heard about our state-of-the-art gym, which opened a year ago, and the brilliant equipment here is available to use, along with assistance and advice from Sue the physio and Dot the personal trainer.

We still try and go the extra mile in addition to this great facility, and that’s why twice a week, there’s something else here at Cumnor Hill House to help everyone keep fit.

Every Monday, we hold keep fit sessions with a dance instructor – she carries out a number of different classes suitable for all abilities, and everyone has a giggle!

Dot, our personal trainer, holds exercise classes on each floor of the home. She starts off from 2-3pm on the top floor, then 3-4pm on the middle floor and 4-5pm on the ground floor. Dot adapts each movement to suit the needs and capabilities of her audience, so people of all ages and abilities are welcome to come and join us.
