This week for our weekly Thursday Evening Event we enjoyed a Mexican-themed evening. There was Mexican food, music and a quiz on all things Mexico!
We've been watching musicals lately, which are enjoyed by our residents at Cumnor Hill House. This week was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Guys and Dolls.
We had a great weekend, sipping Pimms in the sunshine, as well as lots of arts and crafts!
To celebrate carers week and to show our appreciation to all of our wonderful staff we had an ice cream van arrive at Cumnor Hill House today as a surprise and the staff and residents really enjoyed their ice creams !!

To celebrate HRH Queen Elizabeth's Birthday we hosted a garden party where cream tea and champagne were served for our residents. We had the Saffron Strings attend to perform beautiful classical music, which was enjoyed by all who attended. The weather was lovely and the sun was shining, the perfect afternoon for such a special day!!
We pledged to donate 100 toys for this event, and are pleased to announce all toys have been donated to hospitals in Oxford
Afternoon tea with a fruity twist. As the weather has been hot hot hot, we had a very fruity, tasty, and refreshing fruit tea last week. The residents enjoyed the wide selection of fruits alongside Prosecco.

We had a lovely day for Father's Day at Cumnor Hill House, pampering all the lovely fathers who live here, a delicious roast dinner, and to top it off James Bond in the cinema!
An important aspect of everyday life for our residents is food. So our chefs ensure the finest and most nutritious food is served to our residents for every meal. From smoked salmon to cheese boards, from roast dinners to homemade pates, our chefs go above and beyond to cater menus to the requests and requirements of every individual in our care.

Now that our residents can gradually mix floors we are pleased to announce that Scrabble club has started and we played a good game yesterday. The ladies were happy to join in and get back to normal!
