Each new resident takes their own time to settle in. All of our team will visit you and introduce themselves within your first few days at Cumnor Hill House. We take the time to understand each individual, your life story and your hopes and goals for the future.

The home is set in grounds of a large mature garden with plenty of outside space to enjoy walks on warmer days and sit in peace and quiet to enjoy a drink with friends and family.

There is everything you could want here, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do more! Our entire team is here to help, listen and support – all you need do is ask.

In our spa, our beauty therapist offers a plethora of treatments to aid relaxation, wellbeing and your health. Massage therapy is proven to help with circulation, the release of toxins and ease muscle strain. Book yourself in for pampering; you deserve it.

Otago Exercise

Otago is a series of strength and balance exercises delivered by our Physiotherapist proven to help reduce falls by residents. It’s a fun way to help keep our residents mobile and safe.

Residential Care

Residential care describes the care for older people whose day-to-day care needs are low, but whom may require occasional support from experienced carers, while still wanting to live as independent a life as possible. Our residential care provides security and comfort for those needing this type of living.

Nursing Care

Our nursing-led care is available for those who require specialised support from a Registered Nurse. Our Nurses provide practical and personal support as well as assisting with our residents’ health care appointments, so there is a continuity of care at all times for those that need it.

Dementia Care

With over 850,000 diagnosed with dementia in the UK, Cumnor Hill House can offer specialist dementia care to individuals that require it. We dedicate specific spaces and carers to help our residents maintain their psychological and physical wellbeing, supporting their interaction with their surroundings.
